¿Qué?

Hi -

I was wondering if the word 'qué' is used in a couple situations where it is used in English, or if it loses something n the translation.

- 'What??' to mean surprise, usually dismay

- 'What?' to mean self-conscious ("why are you looking at me that way?")

- 'What?' to mean "tell me." (often impatiently)

Are there more appropriate Spanish equivalents?

Thanks

In the same order:

¿¡Qué!?

¿Qué pasa? (more beligerant: ¿Qué te/le pasa?) with intonation between interrogation and exclamation.

¿¡ Y !?
