This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for May 3, 2008
cartón -masculine noun (el), cardboard, carton. Look up cartón in the dictionary Tráeme la caja de cartón donde guardamos los cartones apachurrados de leche. Bring me the cardboard box where we keep the flattened milk cartons.

Hmmm, acabo de preguntar bien y en Mexico usan sólo apachurrar y no espachurrar.
En el DRAE, ambos-- apachurrar y espachurrar-- son variantes de despachurrar
