¡Tengo muchas preguntas! ja ja.

Que usan ustedes para decir "hold (someone) responsible" or "hold (someone) accountable"?

Conozco dos posibilidades, pero no entiendo qual sería mejor para algo un poco formal.

Por ejemplo, ¿qual prefiere Ud.?

Hace a sus estudiantes responsables por sus tareas.

Ó...

Responsabiliza a sus estudiantes por sus tareas.

¿Ó algo diferente?

Ambas formas son correctas. A mí personalmente, no sé si los demás estén de acuerdo conmigo, me suena mejor decir eso con la preposición "de":

Hacer responsable de...

Responsabilizar de...
