Cocodrilo o cocodillo

Bob Ritter, Pensacola Florida, USA

cocodrilo in Spanish and coccodrillo in Italian. Other versions are very old spelling of we-give-a-darn modern spelling.

Cocodrilos are mostly Old World crocodiles (and a few species around the Caribbean), caimanes and yacarés are New World alligators (inspiring Wally Gator and Margarito Tereré)
