Okay I probably already messed up on the thread title, but I wanted to start a thread for me to practice Russian (I didn't want to put it in the "Practice" section since it's not Spanish, but mods feel free to move it if you'd rather it be there).

I couldn't decide where to start, so I'll just pick a few subjects needed to compose some simple sentences. I'll also try to spell out how I think it should be pronounced, since my pronunciation is awful.

Nominative Case Noun (Subject) + Verb, Present Tense

Я видею. (Ya veed'ye'you)
Ты работаешь. (Tee-ou rab'oht'ah'yesh)
Он есет. Она есет. Оно есет. (Ohn / Ohn'a /Oh'no yes'yet)
Мы бегоем. (Mee-ou b-yeg'o'yem)
Вы летаете. (Vee-ou l-yet'ah'yet'ye)
Они сидеют. (Ohn'ee seed'ye'yout)

Lol. Fair question. Let me see if I can remember before I look them back up (I was just randomly picking first-conjugation verbs from a list I have);

Я видею. I see.
Ты работаешь. You work.
Он есет. Она есет. Оно есет. He, She, It eats.
Мы бегоем. We run.
Вы летаете. You (formal) fly.
Они сидеют. They sit.

. . . That's what they're suppose to say anyway.

I guess "eat" is wrong, as it's irregular. Should be 'Он/Она/Оно ест.'

I think a few others might be irregular as they didn't translate over with babble-fish, but I'm still in the process of investigating.

Ah, 'see' isn't irregular, but has some "spelling rules" issues. Since the stem ends with "д" (It's because the verb for 'see' gets conjugated in the second conjugation. See below.) it gets changed to "ж", but then since that cannot be followed by "ю", that gets changed to "у". So the correct conjugation is "Я вижу." ('Ya vee'zhoo' ?)

Woops, this one I just mis-spelled. Infinative is "бегать", thus the 'o' just needs changed to an 'a'. "Мы бегаем."

Last but not least, this one was wrong. It should be "Они сидят", but I can't for the life of me figure out why 'ею' becomes 'я'. It could just be irregular, but I'm having trouble confirming that.

Final note: Ah, "Sit" is like "See". Despite the fact that neither end with "ить", they are a few of the exceptions that are still in the "second conjunction". I sure managed to pick some tricky verbs to start on!

Es bueno que todavía aprendes ruso fazor. Más o menos hace un mes yo dejaba. E tonces ponía toda de la atención en español. Quizás debo empezar aprender de nuevo

Continúo aprender español también. Creo que mis vocabulario no está mal, y comprendo un poco de la gramática. Encuentro muchos frases qué no puedo traduzco, pero no soy nunca a mi computadora cuando necesito ayuda con los. :d'oh:

Nominative Noun Pluralization
Worm: (Червяк) - Червякы. Masuline, ends in consonant. Add 'ы'.
Spider: (Паук) - Паукы. Masuline, ends in consonant. Add 'ы'.
Bee: (Пчела) - Пчелы. Feminine, 'a' replaced with 'ы'.
Moth: (Моль) - Моли. Not sure if it's masuline or feminine, but either way 'ь' is replaced with 'и'.
Dolphin: (Дельфин) - Дельфины.Masuline, ends in consonant. Add 'ы'.
Alligator: (Аллигатор) - Аллигаторы.Masuline, ends in consonant. Add 'ы'.
Whale: (Кет) - Кеты.Masuline, ends in consonant. Add 'ы'.

Just some practice with random nouns, and an explination of what I did. If anyone catches any errors, let me know.
