Jugadores
A friend of mine has a tattoo on his arm "Jugadores", so i asked him why he has a tattoo which means "Player"/"Gamer" in English.
He was responding that it has several meanings but i did not think so. It is even plural which makes less sense to me. To my question: Does "Jugadores" mean anything else than "Player"/"Gamer"? |

'Players' or 'Gamblers' is the only translation I could think of.

There are entire blogs dedicated to Chinese tattoos which the wearer believes to mean one thing where in fact they either mean something else or make no sense.

He is a hustler... I suppose. Is he into rap? It could mean he is a money maker, a person with a lot of women or has good good things like fancy rims on a car. Like they say in American rap songs. "Playas" or "Playa" That is the only thing I can think of when he says that it has other meanings.

He has an IQ of 40 and i don't really envy him. He also pronounced it wrong because the "J" letter is spelled differently in German. I still wonder why it's "Jugadores" instead of "Jugador". |

haha I just notice where you are from. I am probably wrong now. I can see someone in America using Jugadores and it meaning "Playas" which is a person we both described. A Hispanic would do something like that. I did a bit of research and a person who has a lot of women is called a "mujeriego"... That would be a womanizer. Another I can think of is Don Juan. For someone who makes a lot of money I can not think of a word for someone like that.
ADDED* Though I don't think someone would label themselves as a mujeriego. Don Juan I can see someone using that or getting a tattoo of Don Juan. Last edited by mikemacabre; February 04, 2013 at 02:13 PM. |

I just asked him, he said exactly what you wrote before.
Women, money and all that. He digs Cuba. |
