Common English Spelling Errors

A friend of mine just posted this on her Facebook profile. It's good, so I thought I'd share it with you folks here. It's a bit crude at times, but not completely offensive. Enjoy!

Ha! I like that. I'm a terrible speller. Funnily enough, most of those are things I spell correctly. I do always misspell 'definitely' (I'm guilty of wanting to use an 'a'), and I do say 'alot', but I do know that is wrong. I don't care, because to me it's more visually pleasing than 'a lot'. And what *I* think is way more important than what the rest of the English-speaking world thinks.

I'll admit I make mistakes with apostrophes, like "it's" versus "its", but I do know those rules. My mistakes there come from typing too fast and not proofreading.

Nothing to do with intelligence. Think about it.

It has if there is any correlation between intelligence and awareness of language - you need to be aware of possessive adjectives and their use (and no, you don't need to know what they are called ).

But dyslexics tend to be intelligent.
