Footprints

Hola a todos,

I know the following quotation by Eleanor Roosevelt will appear a bit "sugary" but can you help with a translation into Spanish?

"Many friends will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart."

Saludos desde Marshall

To leave footprints -> Dejar huella.

I think this helps you to make your own attempt.

If you use the feminine for the first part, you must use the feminine for the second part.

And as I said in the first post, the plural of "footprints" becomes a singular in Spanish.
