Buena escritura can sometimes mean good handwriting just as good writing may sometimes mean good handwriting in English.

Un buen escrito is good writing as in how to put together a good sentence, but I you don't see term often. Quiero escribir bien sounds better to me, but native speakers will need to confirm this.
PS: keep in mind that fantastic and fantâstico aren't exactly the same.

Thanks. My bad. :P
"Quiero escribir bien"
or "Creo que escribir bien"
That will do me. :P
Should I just use that? Thanks.

It all depends on what you want to say.

If you want to be a good Spanish writer as in someone who can be hired as a writer: Quiero ser un buen escritor.

If you want to learn who to write well as in putting the comma in the right place you can say: Quiero saber escribir bien en español.

Just as in English, there are so many ways of saying things. Often the meanings vary a little too.

Ahh. What does "fantâstico" mean? I thought they meant the same. Thanks. :P

The word fantástico (with a corrected accent mark) has the following meanings. Only the colloquial meaning (the fourth entry) sides with the meaning you intended.

Quote:
fantástico, ca.
(Del lat. phantastĭcus, y este del gr. φανταστικός).
1. adj. Quimérico, fingido, que no tiene realidad y consiste solo en la imaginación.
2. adj. Perteneciente o relativo a la fantasía.
3. adj. Presuntuoso y entonado.
4. adj. coloq. Magnífico, excelente.

The English meanings of the word 'fantastic' are listed below.

Quote:
fan·tas·tic
adjective

1.
a. based on fantasy : not real
b. conceived or seemingly conceived by unrestrained fancy
c. so extreme as to challenge belief : unbelievable; broadly : exceedingly large or great
2. marked by extravagant fantasy or extreme individuality : eccentric
3. excellent, superlative <a fantastic meal>
So, Spanish and English meanings agree, making this word a true cognate.

Thanks. So it is safe to use the Spanish "fantástico" to mean fantastic?

That is what I said, yes, but it will seldom precede the noun.
