Suponemos que padre e hijo van en auto, el hijo va manejando, De pronto ve a su madre corriendo y gritando como loca.

Le avisa a su padre. Lo natural y esperable sería que se detuvieran y trataran de calmarla y de averiguar qué está pasando. Pero para el padre y marido prima la vergüenza... no quiere que nadie los relacione con esa loca que corre y grita.

No es el mejor chiste de plaza, pero tampoco está tan mal.

These are plays on words that put together a common word that has a specific meaning, unrelated to colloquial or slang words that should be put together to sound similarly to the original one; that is why the spelling is disregarded.


With these hints you can make sense of them:

polinesio(a): a person native from Polynesia
poli: short form for "policía"
necio(a): a fool or a stubborn person


cachivache: a useless object
casi = a punto de: almost
bache: a hole in the pavement big enough to be felt when a car tire falls into it
