Cuando gana un título en una competición, y no sabe como afrontarlo, y termina mal, se dice le ha venido grande.

Su puesto le queda grande, es decir que no sabe como solucionar problemas etc...

It can also be "la silla le queda grande". It's used when a person doesn't have the right or expected capabilities to fulfill a mission or to do a job.
