In Spain we say carnet de conducir for driving licence.

¿Creo que he visto ' permiso de conducir' también?
Se utiliza esta palabra también o es mejor decir 'carnet de conducir'?

Un "permiso" en México es para menores de edad (de los 16 a los 18 años). Los adultos obtienen "licencias".

Ah, claro... es un permiso que dura las dos semanas del curso de manejo... pero normalmente se tramita la licencia casi de inmediato.

Los verbos de transporte Manejar / conducir - to drive Llevar - to take Viajar - to travel The ones in red, is how I translate them from English<>Spanish To me to bring = traer To take = tomar o llevar It is known that some people from Mexico and Central America use (or misuse?) traer and llevar.
