I don't have my dictionary here, and I can't find this term in online dictionaries. Do you know what 'construal' mean?

Hay una buena razón que no la encuentras en los diccionarios. La palabra no existe. Existe un verbo construe que significa llegar a entender/deducir.
Misconstrue es una palabra muy común. Significa entender mál.

I checked Cambridge and no such word is found. People make up words. I sometimes do (adverbose for example). Construal, although not
a real word, can be construed as a noun meaning an understanding, but I may have misconstrued this.

De acuerdo (I guess this is a typo ). But: "Hazme saber si...".

I've found a couple of interesting sites about this topic. One of them is a bit difficult and I have to read it carefully for a good understanding. The other one gives a good translation, but there is a link which could be very interesting, but it doesn't work . Now I have to study how this word works with my book (I don't have a teacher now, I'm just preparing next year subjects).

If you would like to give the forum a context, we may be able to help.
If it is a word I believe it means an understanding (like the noun form
of the verb construe). If you can give us a context we may be able to
clear this up

Now I don't have my book here (yes, I know that I should have the book where my dictionary is, but this is not my case , the best definition for myself is 'chaotic' ). Tomorrow I'll give you some sentence where this word appears.

En general el sustantivo cognado del verbo "construe" es "construction".
