Translation Help

Hi, I was kindly helped out with a translation previously on this forum, I wondered if anyone could help with another one? I am looking for the correct translation of the quote "At the darkest moment comes the light"
A free translator had this as "En el momento más oscuro llega la luz" Is this correct ?

Many Thanks

It's OK. But I think it's better "en el momento más oscuro se hace la luz" or "en el momento más oscuro aparece una luz"

I agree. Probably the options aleCcowaN is giving you are better, but, as always, it depends on the context you are using this... i.e., who is saying the sentence and where it is said...

Thanks, I suppose it would be more of a statement sentence, and I would be the one saying it. I also wanted it to definitley signify that light is something that "comes", rather than something that is. Would llega still not be right in this instance ?

Then I would choose "en el momento más oscuro aparece la luz", as Alec noted, using "la" instead of "una".

The light "appears" (literally, in Spanish), but it's more idiomatic conveying the idea that "the light comes to you".

"Llega" would still be right, but "aparece" sounds more natural in my books. Just my opinion. Like the saying goes, "para gustos, los colores".

"Comes" translated into Spanish as "viene" or "llega" suggests the notion of a voyage, like the light in the front of a night train.

OK so if I use 'aparece ' I am saying the light appears, which I suppose is more appropriate, rather than any meaning of a voyage.
