A Poetry of Gabriela Mistral

Hi all,

I'm looking for a poetry of Gabriela Mistral, the original Spanish text or a translation of it in English, but looking on internet it seems to be only an Italian version of it...

This is the poetry in Italian:

Di misura in misura
di segno in segno
il quieto vivere di un'anima
nel rigoglio dei girasoli.
E' la nostra primavera
è il tempo del segreto e del rinascere
del mio sogno che si perde
nel mondo
e del tuo che si riconcilia con il cielo.
Siamo stati tutto
quello che c'era da essere.
Ora soli
ognuno nella propria parte d'infinito
ci limitiamo a comunicare nell'oscurità
per ri-conoscerci ancora.
Sappi che il mio silenzio
è albergo del destino
e il tuo è la voce
che salva ciò che chiama.

Gabriela Mistral

Thank you

Do you know the title of the poem?
Where did you find it in Italian?
(I tried to search it in Spanish, but no joy... yet.)

Here is some of her poetry...

Cool

Hi, unfortunately no, I don't know the title, maybe is part of a longer poem.

In Italian, it is on many blogs even if probably they are all the copies from one who start posting it.

I've written to some of them too, but no answer...

In some of them is written that is from this book: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Poesias-Comp.../dp/8495407590
I got it, but I haven't found.

It could be also in this one, but I'm not sure http://booklens.com/gabriela-mistral...al?ref=related

I'm starting to think that maybe is not a real poem of G.M.

I needed it to use for a short slide video, now I'll use her most famous one "Give me your hand"...
If allowed by mods I'll post the finished work...

But if someone will find it, I'll appreciate anyway, and maybe I'll use it for the future...

The poem doesn't seem to have an English or a Spanish translation (on the internet, at least). I've looked several times.

I did several searches with her real name, just in case, but not joy... (Lucía Godoy y Alcayaga)
