¿Cómo se dice...?

"Emma is really excited about the school trip but more than anything she's exctited about going on a bus"

"A Emma la excursión le hace mucha ilusión pero sobre todo está muy ilusionada con la idea de van en autobus"

"Is Alvaro excited about the trip?"
"¿Alvaro está ilusionado/emocionado sobre la excursión?"

Nothing else stands out to me. But you might want to wait to see whether anyone else adds their comments.

"Excited" suele traducirse como "emocionado" o "ilusionado". Cuando lo acompaña el verbo "estar", ha de emplearse la preposición "con" o "por":

¿Alvaro está ilusionado/emocionado con/por la excursión?

Emma está muy emocionada/entusiasmada por la excursión pero más que nada, está muy/mas emocionada/entusiasmada de ir en autobus ...
