There's lots of ways of saying this.
A few ways are:
¡Que la escuela nos informe más!
Espero que el colegio nos reparta/divulgue/comparta un poquito más información.

Quisiera que...
Quiero que el cole nos de la consideración de informarnos sobre sus decisiones (as in advance notice)

I agree with Poli. An idiomatic way of saying this would be:

Lo único que desearía es que el colegio nos avisara/avisase más.

Thank you Julvenzor. I was thinking of making a sentence for Jellybaby using the imperfect subjunctive but couldn't come up with one that sounded good to me. Your natural-sounding example solved my problem.
