I'm learning to speak Spanish

I am just beginning to learn Spanish (using a popular computer software program) and have decided that it might be helpful to be able to say something like what follows when introducing myself to someone who speaks Spanish fluently. (I don't want there to be expectations set too high. )

"Estoy aprendido hablar Español. Entiendo más que oigo que puedo hablar."

Does that make any sense? Is it obvious to you what I'm trying to say? Is there a better way to say it?

The sentences should be:
Estoy aprendiendo a hablar español. (The preposition a is blended with the ha in hablar)
= I'm learning to speak Spanish.
Lo entiendo mejor que lo hablo.
= I understand it better than I speak it.

You did a good job, I will try of correcting you.

Estoy aprendido hablar Español. Entiendo más de lo que oigo y de lo que puedo hablar.
