Pelotón

How would you say "pelotón" (ciclista) in English?

Thanks.

The official Tour de France website uses "peloton".

...although the term is not to be found in any of my dictionaries.

I think the word for pelotón which a military term, corresponds to platoon in English. Anything else should be a group.

Unless I am forgetting something...
