Mampara

I have read this term used for pantallas plásticas that are used to protect us from contagions. Is this a common term?

Well, "mampara" may be used for a wide variety of screens, temporary walls, barriers or divisions that can be removed or relocated anytime.
The new ones, to avoid contagion, are acrylic or glass barriers that stand between a service provider and a customer so both will be mostly safe from each other.

Here are some examples.

Thanks. Some of those images are what I would call biombo, but now I see that a biombo is a mampara with hinges.

Right! I would only call it "biombo" if the panels are taller than wide and can be folded like a hand fan.
