Hi all! This is my first post about my own spanish poem:)
This is a school assignment which is to creat a diamante poem in spanish. Paz Feliz, Armonioso Ama, Cuida, Abraza La Forma De Garantizar La Paz Es Estar Preparados Para La Guerra Mata, Forcejea, Muere Cruel, Destructiva Guerra I know theres a lot of verbs need to be conjugated,and I am not sure wheather the quote in the middle line has the correct grammar, since i translated it from English. please feel free to make any possible correction. Thank you so much everyone.

¡Bienvenida a los foros!
diamante = diamond Quote:
I don't see any verbs that weren't conjugated (they're all conjugated in the singular third person). However, there may be a better choice of verbs here and there. The opposite of 'abrazar' is not 'morir', for example. I would change that and the 'cuidar' / 'forcejea' pair. The adjectives aren't paired up in every instance, either. And, if one adjective is presented in the feminine form, the opposing one should also be shown in the same gender. Good job, otherwise! Last edited by Rusty; September 09, 2012 at 07:15 PM. |

You're welcome!
There's an 'Accents' drop-down menu, just above where you type, that can be used to select all the special characters used in Spanish. For example, Spanish has both an opening and a closing exclamation mark: ¡Gracias! |

Hey, good job...
The Latin for that, is something like "Si vis pacem para bellum" (Si quieres la paz, prepara la guerra). (Not really true, but sounds "real".)
