Going well
¿Me podéis ayudar entender?
"She thought everything was going well for him because he is happy at home and if not he would have showed signs of being unhappy at home" "Ella pensaba que todo le va bien o le estaba yendo bien porque está contento en casa y si no habría dado unas señales de ser triste en casa" No si en Español si se usa el pasado o presente porque en Inglés se usa el pasado con el presente "She thought, everything was going well because he is" Gracias |

You need the imperfect instead of "va".
Also, "ser triste" implies an inherent condition of one's character (like that old Sesame Street character who was always sad); for the way one feels, as determined by external circumstances, the right verb is "estar".
