meaning of "lomas"
New restaurant in town called "Lomas del Sol" I find only the word loma in dictionaries meaning "hill or knoll." Is Lomas correct? Does this mean Hills of the Sun? Thanks.

Yes, I'd say that's a fairly accurate translation, it could also be "Sunny Hills" or something similar.
Oh, and welcome

Lo más del Sol / More of the Sun

Maybe, but I wouldn't count on it.
"lo más" is used like, for example in: "lo más que puedes" - as much as you can. I think probably hills of the sun is a pretty on-target translation.

In Spain, it's the typical name for a residential district or an old people's home
