I learned in another thread that majidkh doesn't speak any Spanish.
It's useful if we have more of an idea about why you're asking. Could more context be provided? Here are some definitions, with a couple of sample sentences. I hope it helps. ~~~ When we encounter a person for the first them, we meet them. We can describe where we met, using the same verb: We met at the park. If we are not physically in the same place with a particular person, but would like to be, we can meet them somewhere: Do you want to go see the new movie at the theater? Yes! I'll meet you there in ten minutes. The verb meet can also mean to reach a certain level of expectation, as in: This meets the objective of the project. The phrasal verb meet with is used to express the idea of a conference with another person, or encountering/experiencing something (like an obstacle): I'd like to meet with you tomorrow and talk about your career. Our team met with some tough competition last night. We were met with rain when we got to the beach. |
