¿Por qué el subjuntivo es usado ahí?

@Bob: it's hard to explain the use of subjunctive there, but it's an idiomatic use to say that whatever is done, something won't be changed.

Digan lo que digan, yo sigo creyendo que el presidente es buena persona.
No matter what they say, I still think the president is a good person.

Hagas lo que hagas, no te voy a dejar ir a la fiesta.
No matter what you do, I won't let you go to the party.

Me ofrezcan lo que me ofrezcan, no voy a vender mi auto.
No matter how much they offer, I won't sell my car.
