La hora
Is my use of ‘ser’ correct below?
I really want to say: El vuelo sale (saldrá) a las seis y cuarto de la tarde. The flight time is 6.15 pm. • La hora del vuelo es las las seis y cuarto de la tarde. Is this sentence below correct? These are the best (flight) times available: • Estas son las mejores horas que hay. Many thanks. |

I might try:
These are the best (flight) times available. = Estos son los mejores horarios (de vuelo) disponibles. As for the other sentence, I don't think you're wrong, but often things are expressed differently. I like this: The flight time is 6:15 pm. = El vuelo sale a las 6:15 pm.

I like Tomisimo's sentences better, but you may use "ser" if you wish:
• La hora del vuelo es a las seis y cuarto de la tarde. Or, you may just say "el vuelo es a las seis y cuarto de la tarde". • Estas son las mejores horas que hay. Or "éste es el mejor horario que hay".
