Han aparecido dos muertos con un tiro en la nuca, todo parece ser un ajuste de cuentas, ya que ambos tenían antecedentes penales y estaban metidos en asuntos turbios. I try it: Two dead people have appeared with a shot in the nape, it seems like a vendetta is the cause, since both of them had a criminal record and were ........ HELP ME PLEASE ! |

Two bodies have been discovered with gunshot wounds in the neck. It appears to be a settling of accounts because both had had previous convictions and were involved in criminal activities. ('shady business' - too informal)

Not 100% sure on this one but maybe 'even the score' or 'settle the score' could also be an option? (Maybe better to comment on by a native speaker. )
