Lo
Can someone explain to me how "lo's" work with expressions. I know how to use it as a direct object pronoun. ie. ' lo comí '. But there are expressions is spanish that I see like 'lo mejor' 'lo más'. How do these work ? Thank You

In the instances you cited, lo is a neuter article. It is being used to make a noun out of an adjective.
lo mejor = the best thing lo importante = the important thing lo siguiente = the following thing |
