Más vale tarde que nunca. La traducción, en este caso, es casi literal. Se usa mucho en español.

Otra expresión relacionada que se me ocurre es: Nunca es tarde si la dicha es buena. ¿Hay algo parecido en inglés?

esperando por dicha

El diccionario mío traduce "nunca es tarde..." así: good luck is worth waiting for.

Gracias a Elaina y a Alfonso -

sosia has a spectacular aura aboutsosia has a spectacular aura about
That is a different saying: "Nunca es tarde si la dicha es buena" (It's never late for good luck/happiness) or "good luck is worth waiting for"
for "better late than never" Alfonso's (Más vale tarde que nunca) or Elaina's (Vale mas tarde que nunca......) are better.
I'm with Alfonso version, because I'm spanish.

As a side note, it's interesting to note how learning a foreign language can influence your usage of your native language. I've seen it happen personally when I speak, but just today a friend who is originally from Mexico and living in the US said "Mejor tarde que nunca", which I'm pretty sure is a direct translation of the English "better late than never", since what I've heard when I'm in Mexico is "mas vale tarde que nunca".
