Two questions

Hey! First I was wondering if I translated this humorized addage correctly: "Hard work never killed anyone... ...important"

And secondly, I was wondering if Soler is synonymous with acostumbrar.

¡A todos Se Agradezco!

Re: Two questions

Welcome to the forums Archemorus,

I'd translate these as follows:

"Hard work never killed anyone... ...important"

And about soler, no it's not normally synonymous with acostumbrar, but sometimes it comes pretty close. Let me give you some examples.

- I usually go to the beach in the summer.
- I'm used to going to the beach in the summer.
- Suele suceder. - That usually happens.

Maybe some others can give some better examples.

Re: Two questions

Heh, does that mean if I use the imperfect forms of Soler, it's completely redundant?

Not really. Here's a couple more examples.

Solíamos hacer eso. - We always used to do that.
Suelo hacer esto. - I always/normally do this.

Dear Archemorus
I agree with Tomisimo's Feedback
Is Correct !
Any way I would like to tell you the following:
The translation of a sentence is like the Woman,
When is Loyal is Ugly…
When is Beautiful is Disloyal !

Claro.

Re: Two questions

* Sinceridad
* Honestidad
* Dignidad
* Nobleza
* Comprension
* Perdon
* Confianza
* Amor
