Llegar a pensar

Por favor que me digan ,que significa exactamente " llegué a pensar" se me ocurrió? saqué la conclusión ?

llegar a + infinitivo

perífrasis verbal que representa el final de un proceso productivo o evolutivo, o lo extremo de una situación:

su hijo llegó a ser obispo (pasó por todo el "escalafón" hasta llegar a obispo)
se necesitan diez años de estudio para llegar a ser buen músico
como me obligaban a practicarlo, de chico llegué a odiar el violín
era tan reservado con respecto a su pasado que incluso llegué a pensar si no era un fugitivo de la justicia

That's right,
llegar A + INF: llegó a amenazarme con el despido = she even threatened to fire me, she went so far as to threaten to fire me;
llegué a pensar que me engañaba = I even began to think he was deceiving me;
no llegó a pegarme, pero … = he didn’t actually hit me, but …;
llegó a aburrirme con sus constantes quejas = I grew tired of [or] I got bored with his constant complaining;
las cosas han llegado a tal punto, que ya no se hablan = things have got to [or] have reached such a point that they’re not speaking to each other now;
puede incluso llegar a ganarle = he might even beat him
