En México también se usa para alimentos que pueden llevar uno o más componentes iguales:

Helado sencillo = helado de una bola (one ice-cream scoop)
Helado doble = helado de dos bolas (two ice-cream scoops)

Hamburguesa sencilla (one beef patty hamburger)
Hamburguesa doble (two beef patty hamburger)
