Rusty help.

I don't think we have a dicho for this in English.
You can say: Don't pay attention to him. It will only encourage him. Ignore him and he will go away.

I think that not all the Spanish "dichos" (I don't know the word in English) can be translated in the same way, I mean, with another English "dicho". We can say a sentence with a meaning, this meaning is possible to translate, but not with this type of sentence. An on the contrary, it would work the same.

One can also say "hacerle caso al loco es engrandecerlo", but I don't think I've ever heard an equivalent in English, except in some forum-jargon "Don't feed the trolls".

"There's no worse disdain than to ignore" would be a more or less literal translation, but then again, it is not in the list of English sayings, like a lot more of them, so in my modest opinion, Rusty's options come closer.

Other good options for this would be:
Don't feed the trolls. (used a lot on the internet) Don't add wood to the fire. These essentially say that the best way to get rid of a troublemaker is to ignore them.
