Question Capital Letters

Back when I was in Junior High, I was taught that Spanish sentences did not begin with capital letters. Is that still the case?

¿tú hablas español?

In the software I'm using, I have been corrected for using capital letters, and for NOT using capital letters. I'm sooooo confused!

Thanks!

Sentences in Spanish do need to start with capital letters. Maybe the confusion is the word yo (I), which is not capitalized, unless it's the first word in a sentence of course, and other differences in capitalization, such as names of languages are not capitalized in Spanish.

¿Tú hablas español?
