Por las bravas

Yes.

Also: por las buenas o por las malas/ a la buena o a la mala.

I agree with Chileno: "por las bravas" = "por las malas". It would mean that someone will do something, no matter if they have to do it violently and against someone else's will.

Something like,
'He forced him to do the job dragging him with no consideration'
