Right. But more than "well made", "made with good ingredients" hence it is "good"

Agree.
Prior to the advertising era, there was a saying,
"el buen paño en el arca se vende" (the well-made cloth it's sold in the safe/chest/arc)
a good product doesn't need advertising, the people will come to buy it.

saludos

Funny, that reminds me the Ralph Waldo Emerson oft-quoted remark in favor of innovation: "Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door." (I.e., if your product is the best, people will come to you to buy it.)

The actual quotation was,
"If a man has good corn or wood, or boards, or pigs, to sell, or can make better chairs or knives, crucibles or church organs, than anybody else, you will find a broad hard-beaten road to his house, though it be in the woods."
—Ralph Waldo Emerson

Maybe is not too common, but it can also be used figuratively, as in, "amigos de buen paño" meaning the friends are good ones, and/or probably could mean they are "upper middle class"
