Literally as "cannon needle", but I think he refers to a "rascador", a tool wich was uset to clean the barrel from the outside. http://www.decathlon.es/ES/kit-limpieza-rifle-36005797/ Something like you see here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymyw7CLFWOk an old version was simple a needle with a chain, like when cleaning a chimney Saludos
