Estúpido

Hoy rompí mi toma de luz... (Today I broke my light socket... please correct my mistakes) I was changing the light bulb and I broke the actual socket that you put it in... How silly of me...

Learning Spanish actually feels easier than changing my light bulb...

That is a bit too much, although you can say it, especially if you are talking about yourself.

I personally would use "Tonto! I broke or did this o that... whatever.

tonto = fool/silly

Still, it is a strong word to be used slightly.

Tontuelo would be more like "silly" and could pass.

I was looking up words like this recently because i was going to say to someone

Ingleses personas sonido tonto cuando hablamos español o otras idiomas

¿Verdad? Lol

So ...
Estupido = quite strong/rude
Tonto = not as strong but still quite harsh
Tontuelo = less offensive, more 'silly' or 'clumsy'

Would you say that is accurate?
