Compromiso

This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for July 3, 2009

compromiso (masculine noun (el)) — commitment. Look up compromiso in the dictionary

No puedo en la tarde que tengo un compromiso, ¿está bien en la noche?
I can't in the afternoon since I already have a commitment. How about at night?

It's an idiom?

It's could to be ( May you come in the night?)

Are you talking about 'en la tarde'/en la noche'? I'd never say 'en', but 'por' (por la tarde/por la noche) either.

Pienso que "How about at night" y "How about during the night" son iguales

Hice un compromiso aprender el español Y creo que próximamente le vaya a estar consumado

Espero unas correcciones no te ofendan.

Hice un compromiso de aprender el español y creo que próximamente se va a cumplir (o próximamente será cumplido).
