Aren't you the one they wanted to see?
I wanted to say, "Aren't you the one they wanted to see?" but I got lost in my translation thought process and now I have no idea what I ended up saying.
Now that I have time to think about it, I'm still not sure if any of the ways I can think to say it are correct. The ways that come to mind are: Aren't you the one they wanted to see? ¿No es usted el que quieren ver? ¿No es usted a que quieren ver? ¿No es usted a quien quieren ver? ¿No es a usted a quien quieren ver? Which, if any, is correct? |
