Promise to meet me here

-My friend has promised to meet me here.

My friend and I have a date scheduled (without scheduled the word date has a romantic implication)
My friend and I have an appointment to meet tomorrow.
Less formally and perhaps more commonly: My friend and I plan to get together tomorrow.
