Hi! Thanks for providing your own translation attempt. It is always helpful, and appreciated.

The English sentence is in the passive voice. The passive voice isn't used as much in Spanish as it is in English. The best translation will not be in the passive voice, in other words.

What meaning does your verb 'haunt' have (persists, troubles, makes anxious, worries, frequents, scares, disturbs, visits, be in the company of, ...)?

That is what I want to know

@ Rusty - What does the author want to say with that phrase?

If we don't know what meaning of haunt the author had in mind, we can't very well come up with a proper translation.
Context is everything. Perhaps more context would help us know what the author intended.

If context doesn't help, you would have to assign the meaning that you think best fits and translate. I wouldn't use the passive voice, though (which is a conjugation that takes the form ser + participio pasado). I would use 'me ... el alma el sueño de otros días' (active voice, insert the meaning of haunt that you chose).

I asked b/c

I asked because my native language is Spanish. I am new here and did not
realize this forum is for non-native speakers of Spanish. After I returned yesterday I realized my error.

This forum is also for non-native speakers of English, so no error was made on your part. Welcome to the forums!

Any of the suggested meanings, except 'visits' and 'be in the company of' could be a good meaning for 'haunts', from what I can tell. Si tienes más contexto podemos dar en el clavo.
