Que no te lo haya dado ya..... Que?
Here is a line from a song... the first part is easy but the last part has me a bit confused. "lo haya".. haven't seen that before.. Anyway..
No tengo más para dar que no te lo haya dado ya... Thanks in advance. |

Needs context! The full line is
"No tengo más para dar que no te lo haya dado ya" Lit. "I don't have more to give that I haven't already given it to you yet". So "I don't have more to give than what I've already given you". |

So is "haya" used as the word "has"? Would that happen to be the full word for he, ha, has, han, and hemos?

"Haya" is the 1st and 3rd person, present subjunctive of "haber".

I believe that both context are accurate.

It it makes sense now that I know that "haya" is used the same as the others... I wouldn't have had this problem if he would have simply said "no te lo he dado ya".

Es que "no tengo nada más para dar que no te lo he dado ya" no es correcto.
Sometimes you need the subjunctive to form a negative sentence in Spanish. |

Phrases like "no te lo haya dado ya".... are my biggest challenge with "hearing" spanish. I can see it written and it fine. Even if spoken slow and I hear everything I have to think about it too much. Too many small words that is all sentence structure and not a lot of content. Maybe if I just hear it enough I will get used to it.

...yet? Shouldn't it be "already"?
