Sos mi vida
When I was living in Buenos Aires there was a really funny, crazy fast telenovela there on TV called "sos mi vida". It was impossible to understand when I first arrived, but after awhile I could pick it up. Cheesy as most telenovelas are, but it actually was highly entertaining.
There's a trailer with english subtitles if you need to follow along: youtube.com/watch?v=Lca4-j4OaAo. For the record, I think that watching Spanish movies with Spanish subtitles on is extremely helpful! It's just no fun simply watching a Spanish movie if you miss half of what's actually going on. Other really good Spanish movies are by Pedro Almodovar (Todo sobre mi madre, Volver, etc.) and El laberinto del fauno by Guillermo del Toro is a good, intense horror movie in Spanish.
