It doesn't make much sense to me. Pays is French for pais which means country. Lets go country?

It may be a shot form of "paisano", which is someone who has been born in the same country or region as the person who speaks.

It can also be understood as "buddy" or "mate".

So it could be "come on, buddy!"/"let's go, buddy"

Right - "Payés", I gather, = "paisano' in Catalán. (Fem. "payesa")

Because the phrase alone doesn't make sense.

Payés/payesa: agricultor/a en catalán.

Puede ser "país" mal escrito.

@Elan: you need to provide a clear context in order to get the right explanation or translation for it.

Es lo que he pensado, junto con que podría ser "paisa" mal escrito.

También podría ser "vamos, pues".
