Gross Monthly Income

Help! I'm not sure how to translate the word "gross" in reference to the total income earned before taxes (¿bruto?) Ugh! Is there another word I can use?

Thanks
Luz

Bruto is the right word, even if it's not too beautiful... Sorry about that.

Now that gross/bruto has been resolved, what is the Spanish word for
net (as in net income)?

Neto o líquido.
