The revolving door of recidivism

Question The revolving door of recidivism

La puerta giratoria de la reincidencia.
El círculo vicioso de la reincidencia.

Both expressions seem to translate the concept of this already made cliché.

Any other ideas or ways to express this concept?

(Basically the problem of criminals completing their term and committing the same crimes or worse again...)

Aunque "círculo vicioso" entraña la idea de que el reincidente comete delitos cada vez peores, me quedo con éste por falta de un término común.

Por acá diríamos "la calesita de la reincidencia" (calesita = carrusel = tiovivo) o "el continuo reciclaje de la reincidencia" de manera un poco más formal.

También en Chile, por lo menos de mi tiempo. Pero, en este caso creo que bien se puede hablar de "círculo vicioso" porque "recidivism" se refiere a la anómalia sicológica de reincidir en lo mismo y empeorar. Generalmente el término parece ser usado para describir problemas mentales que atañen a los reclusos/criminales y su rehabilitación.

Gracias a los tres. (Lo de "puerta giratoria" parece un tanto literal... en medio del contexto creo que se puede entender sin problema, aunque sí parace mucho mejor lo de "círculo vicioso".) (Bueno es saber las otras opciones...)
