Perikles is on a distinguished road
Escorzo

It seems regardless of how big the dictionary is that you invest in, there are always words which are not included. I have just read:

No habia mas elegante que ella para dormir, con un escorzo de danza y una mano sobre la frente ..

un escorzo de danza: anybody? (Gabriel Garcia Marquez El amor en los tiempos del colera)

I think Márquez is just trying to be really poetic here. An escorzo is a art term that refers to shortening something by viewing (or drawing it) from a certain perspective. So I think Márquez is referring to how she looked while she was sleeping. Here's a stab at translating it:

No había mas elegante que ella para dormir, con un escorzo de danza y una mano sobre la frente
No one was more elegant than her while sleeping; with one hand on her forehead and her body giving the impression that she was dancing.

agree with TOmismo/David.
No one was more elegant than her while sleeping; with one hand on her forehead and her body giving the impression that she was dancing ( perhaps not all the body, but the visible part gave the impression of the dance, so escorzo. It's only a guess)
Saludos
