This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for November 19, 2009

clavo (masculine noun (el)) — nail, clove. Look up clavo in the dictionary

Metí un clavo en la pared para colgar mi camisa.
I put a nail in the wall to hang my shirt on.

También se utiliza "garras" (claws)
