Are you bringing back less than you went out with
situation:
My brother went out an hour ago, I not remembering to look at what he went out with. Now he has come back, and can I ask him?: -Are you bringing back less than you went out with? Because usually my brother goes out with a backpack, so I fear he may have left it where he has just visited when I see that he is not wearing his backpack. |

You can use this.
This term is often used in gambling. You do well if you come back with more than you left with.
